Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, seeks an IT liaison for ongoing support and maintenance of clinical and non-clinical computer information systems. The role bridges ARMC departments, Information Systems, physicians and Corporate Information Systems Department.

You will develop test plans, monitor system performance, administer access, and collaborate with end-users to meet technology needs. The position includes rotating on-call duties and documenting changes promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in Information Systems preferred.
• 3 years of hospital clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the test and production region of ARMC reporting problems to Corporate, assisting the associates of this facility with any questions or difficulties.
• Develops and executes test plans to ensure system performance and integration.
• Administers application access and security. Inactivate terminated users from system.
• Effectively works with end-users to understand their technology specific requirements and finds ways to leverage technology to meet their needs.
• Coordinates issue workaround until resolution is complete.
• Takes call on a rotation with other IS personnel.
• Performs routine system monitoring and updates documentation in a timely fashion.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required.
