Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC invites an IS Support Specialist to serve as liaison between hospital departments, IS, physicians and Corporate IS. You will maintain clinical and non-clinical computer information systems and support end-users across the facility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, an associate degree in information systems, and at least three years of hospital clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s Degree in Information Systems preferred.
• 3 years of hospital clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the test and production region of ARMC reporting problems to Corporate, assisting the associates of this facility with any questions or difficulties.
• Develops and executes test plans to ensure system performance and integration.
• Administers application access and security. Inactivate terminated users from system.
• Effectively works with end-users to understand their technology specific requirements and finds ways to leverage technology to meet their needs.
• Coordinates issue workaround until resolution is complete.
• Takes call on a rotation with other IS personnel.
• Performs routine system monitoring and updates documentation in a timely fashion.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required.
