Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, CO is seeking a IT Help Desk Specialist to provide Tier 1 support for clinicians and staff, handling desktop, software, and network issues, and supporting MEDITECH Expanse and Athenahealth. The role requires strong communication and HIPAA awareness.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT.
1–3 years IT support or helpdesk experience.
Working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, printers, TCP/IP, wireless.
Experience supporting MEDITECH Expanse and/or Athenahealth preferred.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 IT support to end users via phone, email, remote tools, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
Assist with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and security access management.
Support healthcare applications (MEDITECH Expanse, Athenahealth) and VDI connectivity.
Document troubleshooting steps and escalate complex incidents as needed.
