Job summary

Intercoastal Medical Group in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced IT Support & Network Engineer to join our technology team. You will provide hands-on technical support, manage network and communications infrastructure, and help ensure reliability, performance, and security across multiple sites.

In this fast-paced healthcare environment you will troubleshoot issues, coordinate upgrades, and document configurations while collaborating with vendors and clinical staff to keep operations running

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• 7+ years IT experience supporting end users and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, wireless).
• Knowledge of VoIP cloud/hybrid systems and Windows environments.
• Healthcare IT familiarity and HIPAA awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for users and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network and telecom infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wireless, voice, and connectivity across multiple sites.
• Support network security, firewall, VPN, and access control technologies.
• Assist with upgrades, deployments, and IT projects, with documentation.
