Job summary

Diamond Grove Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Information Technology Specialist to lead IT operations for the Louisville center. The role includes managing resources, projects and tasks of the IT department, supporting infrastructure, data resources and systems, and providing high-quality customer service.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot complex technology issues, contribute to strategic planning and support the hospital in achieving its institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or Ged.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years Experience in IT
• Foundational knowledge of data protection, safe network configurations, and basic threat preventions.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment and culture aligned with the organization's mission, vision and values.
• Develop and/or implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions for a given problem.
• Multitask and handle complex matters with minimal supervision and effective follow-up; communicate with all hospital departments
• Install and maintain phones, computers, cameras, proximity system and other network systems; upgrade software and hardware as needed
