Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an IT&S Technician to join our team in Somerset, KY. The role focuses on handling support requests, diagnosing issues, and providing end-user training within a busy healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering reliable service to clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Minimum Work Experience: 2 years of experience in the field is preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment is desired

Responsibilities

• Enter support requests into tracking system and assign ticket numbers.
• Interview customers to determine nature and scope of issues.
• Diagnose, resolve and close customer issues per service level guidelines.
• Promptly escalate issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
• Document and report customer inquiries regarding new or different functionality.
• Provide end-user desktop training and minor hardware/peripheral repair as appropriate.
• Provide support for mobile phones, configure desktop operating systems and servers, and manage account access.
