• Assists in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new equipment and/or software applications.
• Supports security, contracting and capital discussions (if required) for implementation.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of a project over the project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
• Develops project tasks, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion of project.
• Facilitates discussions for workflows and operational processes to be redesigned or standardized.
• Collaborates with leadership to determine and document project objectives, scope, timeline, approach, resource requirements, budget and stakeholders.
• Defines team member roles and responsibilities and may manage external consultants and vendor resources.
• Monitors and communicates progress through routine status reports to all levels of the organization.
• Identifies risks and performs mitigation planning, escalating as necessary.
• Assists in development of communication and training strategies and turnover plans.
• Identifies metrics to evaluate project success and prepares post-project reviews.
• Leads, directs, and motivates teams and promotes a collaborative environment.
• Pursues self-development by seeking guidance from other project managers.
