Job summary

Seattle Children’s seeks an IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives in a hybrid Downtown Seattle setting (3 days on-site). You will plan, schedule, and budget projects, coordinating with business and IT teams to deliver outcomes on time and within scope.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in IT/Business/Math or equivalent, at least 3 years managing projects, and 2+ years in IT project management. Healthcare tech experience and PMP/Agile certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Math, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrate technical competence.
• Minimum of three (3) years managing projects.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in IT project management.
• Experience implementing/supporting system implementations and managing project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Independent or part of a program, manages multiple medium size projects concurrently or a single large size project through their lifecycle.
• Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets, scope and deliverables.
• Works with business and IT managers to create and manage project resource plans and staff.
• Monitors progress from initiation through close, manages issues and risks, and reports status.
• Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
