Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, seeks an IT Manager to lead local technology operations on Long Island, NY. This role acts as the trusted partner between practice leadership, MSPs, vendors, and the broader enterprise IT organization.

The successful candidate will own IT service delivery, vendor management, and technology strategy, while ensuring a stable, secure environment and supporting enterprise integration initiatives across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT operations in healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of IT service management and incident handling.
• Experience coordinating with MSPs, vendors, and enterprise IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across Long Island physician practices.
• Serve as the liaison between local practice leadership, enterprise IT teams, MSPs, and vendors.
• Establish technology priorities based on operations, security, infrastructure health, and enterprise standards.
• Manage MSP performance, escalations, SLAs, and service quality.
• Ensure critical clinical and business technology remains stable, secure, and available.
• Support network and technology integration into centralized enterprise environment.
• Coordinate migrations involving networking, endpoints, security platforms, and Active Directory.
