Job summary

IDR is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of our top clients in Austin, TX. This role leads healthcare IT infrastructure projects, including physical transitions and system upgrades, coordinating across architects, clinical teams, and vendors.

You will manage scope, schedule, resources, and risk, ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards, and maintain thorough project documentation. A strong background in PMI practices and hybrid methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project delivery and construction coordination involving IT systems and infrastructure upgrades.
• 2+ years of healthcare IT projects with familiarity with building codes, infection control standards, and clinical space design.
• 4+ years of PMI practices, PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management/development methodologies.
• Experience with infrastructure moves, physical transitions, and coordinating multiple stakeholders during construction or renovation projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the delivery of complex healthcare IT and infrastructure projects, including physical transition and system upgrades.
• Manages project scope, timeline, resources, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with architects, clinical teams, and vendors to support infrastructure move and upgrade initiatives.
• Maintains comprehensive project documentation and ensures clear communication of project progress and issues.
• Ensures projects adhere to healthcare, building codes, and safety standards, particularly during physical relocations.
