Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certification upon hire (preferred).
• 2+ years experience in IT support/helpdesk (preferred).
• Healthcare or hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary onsite contact for IT-related issues, escalating unresolved problems as needed.
• Coordinates and tracks helpdesk tickets to ensure timely communication and follow-up with end users.
• Assists in setup, configuration, and deployment of desktop computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Supports user access requests and terminations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
• Coordinates onsite IT vendor visits and manages service/maintenance scheduling.
• Participates in facility orientation for new employees regarding IT policies and systems usage.
• Assists with IT systems testing, application updates, downtime planning, and data recovery processes.
• Communicates IT policies and procedures clearly to end users and promotes safe computing practices.
• Supports training initiatives and contributes to IT documentation and knowledgebase updates.
