Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health Corporate Services in New Jersey seeks an Application Analyst I to support design, build, and testing of assigned applications. You will assist with workflow build, go-live support, on-call coverage, and issue resolution under guidance from senior analysts.

Strong communication and problem-solving are essential. Requirements include an Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, along with healthcare systems exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Applicable application certification is expected for the assigned application.
• Exposure to healthcare clinical or financial systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform assigned work under guidance from senior analysts and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, configuration, testing, documentation and operation of assigned applications under guidance.
• Assist with workflow build, system changes, issue resolution, go-live support and on-call coverage.
• Maintain clear ticket communication with customers and update status, resolution notes and closures.
• Document system modifications, workflow changes, decisions, risks and issues in tracking tools.
• Follow change control, escalation and issue tracking processes for timely resolution.
