RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Application Analyst I to design, develop, and support custom software applications. You will create reports, dashboards, data extracts, and metrics while coding and testing new solutions.

You may assist with Epic Upgrade tasks and user support. The role requires aBachelor's degree and 0–2 years of related experience, with knowledge of SQL, .Net, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python and Cogito tools.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, programming, or a related field.
Preferred: Epic Clarity or Caboodle certification
Preferred: Epic Cogito Fundamentals certification
0–2 years experience creating/enhancing applications, reports, dashboards or other software/applications.
Knowledge of SQL, .Net, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Python and related technologies.
Knowledge of Cogito tools, Cogito Reporting applications, dashboards, data extracts, etc.
Working knowledge of database systems.

Responsibilities

Developing reports, dashboards, data extracts and building custom metrics.
Creating and implementing the source code of new applications.
Testing source code and debugging code.
Collaborate on Epic Upgrade related tasks and customer support.

Application Analyst I

Job Function

The Application Analyst I is responsible for the overall design and development of custom software applications. This includes designing, coding, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications, including potential security threats. The Application Analyst I will do some project management and end‑user support as required.

Qualifications

Education

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, programming, or a related field
Preferred if certified in Epic Clarity or Caboodle or both
Preferred if certified in Epic Cogito Fundamentals

Work Experience

0–2 years experience creating/enhancing applications, reports, dashboards or other types of software/applications
Up‑to‑date knowledge of different programming languages, such as SQL, .Net, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Python and related technologies
Knowledge of Cogito tools, Cogito Reporting applications, building dashboards, metrics, data extracts, etc.
Working knowledge of database systems
