Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo is seeking a part-time Inventory Coordinator to oversee inventory for assigned departments, ensuring medical supplies, linens, and equipment are stocked and ready for patient care.

This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and experience with basic office software. Schedule Saturday-Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm, with 24 hours weekly; hourly pay ranges from $18.76 to $24.38, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of related materials management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with basic word processing, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Healthcare supplies experience and ability to work with healthcare teams.
• Preferred: one year of healthcare distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inventory management for assigned departments to keep supplies stocked.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate systems and suppliers.
• Communicates supply levels and new products to department staff.
• Maintains Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors on-hand quantities and reconciles discrepancies.
• Uses SCIS to manage distribution, receiving, and reports per regulations.
• Ensures compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports for locations.
