Job summary

Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital is seeking an Inventory/Materials Management Associate to manage stock, par levels, and Kanban visuals for assigned units. You will coordinate with departments, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining organized storage. Strong attention to detail and reliable communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Six months of related Materials Management experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
  • Ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, and reports.
  • Experience using healthcare supplies and basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory control for stock and non-stock items.
  • Keep supplies organized and binned; manage par levels and trends.
  • Act as liaison between Supply Chain and departments; communicate supply needs.
  • Place orders and deliver supplies using appropriate systems and vendors.
  • Monitor reports and reconcile quantity on hand; resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures; audit readiness.
