Job summary

CommuniCare is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator at Martinsburg Healthcare Center to ensure steady par levels of nursing and administrative supplies. You will manage weekly inventories, coordinate with vendors, and handle billing-related duties while adhering to budget and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and 2–3 years in healthcare. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 Years prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
• Understanding of resident rights and care procedures and standards, within the scope of environmental service.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inventory on a weekly basis to ensure par levels.
• Create a list of supplies needed and purchase materials to maintain an adequate inventory.
• Deal directly with all vendors.
• Prepare correspondences and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc., and return to vendor as required.
• Follow prescribed budget and create billing statements for resident billing.
