Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage hospital inventory using data analytics across multiple platforms. You will forecast inventory needs, coordinate supplier conversions, and train frontline staff while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure continuous supply and optimal patient care.

The role emphasizes collecting data, maintaining stock levels, and supporting value analysis in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years related experience in healthcare supply chain or related warehousing / inventory management
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians and staff
• Visual acuity and ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations

Aufgaben

• Lead in converting supplies between vendors and coordinate site communication and training as needed
• Interpret data from multiple inventory platforms to inform decisions
• Develop work plans and timelines for supply chain inventory projects and expansions
• Provide inventory training to frontline staff on best practices and processes
• Collaborate with EMR Analysis and other departments on projects
• Perform data research and analysis for administrative needs
• Review PAR levels and forecast inventory to avoid stockouts or overstock
• Lead physical inventory and related reporting and documentation
• Serve as subject matter expert on supplies and substitutions for clinical staff
• Maintain relationships with departments to ensure excellent customer service and supply metrics
