Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support stock, receiving, and distribution of materials.

You will ensure storerooms and POC areas are stocked, organized, and compliant with safety standards, while maintaining records in the supply chain system to aid patient care and operations. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking per FIFO, performing cycle counts, processing requisitions, and delivering items with proper signatures.

Formación

• 0-1 years of experience applying mathematical and conversion skills in healthcare supply chain.
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, inventory control, or materials management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips and reporting discrepancies.
• Stocks storeroom and warehouse items in designated locations using FIFO to ensure proper inventory rotation.
• Maintains safety stock levels by reviewing min/max quantities for storeroom and POC areas.
• Performs physical and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and resolves discrepancies.
• Picks and stages supplies based on requisitions and applies patient charge stickers when applicable.
• Organizes and maintains PAR locations with labeling and clean layouts.
• Delivers items to departments, obtaining signatures for delivery confirmation.
• Coordinates outbound shipments for returns, prepares bills of lading and forms.
• Keeps storeroom and warehouse environments clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Supports semi-annual and year-end inventory processes with counts and data validation.
• Enters data into ERP or inventory system for receipts, adjustments, transfers, and requisitions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
