Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Detail-Oriented Supply Chain Technician to ensure accurate stocking and distribution of medical supplies onsite in Tennessee.

The role requires rigorous inventory control, data entry, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. The technician will receive shipments, perform cycle counts, apply FIFO, and maintain PAR locations while supporting annual inventory processes and department requisitions.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience with inventory calculations and par levels.
• 1-3 years in supply chain, warehouse, or materials management preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process shipments, verify contents against packing slips.
• Stock storeroom/warehouse items using FIFO to maintain rotation.
• Maintain safety stock levels by updating min/max quantities.
• Perform physical and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pick and stage supplies based on requisitions with patient charge stickers where applicable.
• Organize PAR locations with proper labeling and restock consistency.
• Deliver non-stock and stock items to departments with delivery sign-offs.
• Coordinate outbound shipments for returns, prepare bills of lading.
• Keep storeroom/warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Support semi-annual and year-end inventory processes.
• Enter data into ERP/inventory system for receipts, adjustments, transfers, requisitions.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
