Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking an Integration Analyst to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications within an Agile Scrum team. You will map data across HL7, FHIR, XML, and other formats, collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver effective interfaces.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in integration roles, hands-on data mapping skills, and experience with Jira, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as an integration analyst, healthcare data analyst or similar role.
Hands-on experience with data mapping and transformations rules.
Understanding of healthcare workflows (patient registration, orders, results, billing) and HL7, XML, JSON, FHIR formats.
2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; familiar with Jira for stories/backlog.
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria; ability to prioritize backlog items.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain integration mapping documentation, including HL7 and other formats, with source-to-target mappings.
Gather and analyze requirements for integrations between internal apps and external partner systems.
Interpret HL7 (v2.x, v3), FHIR, XML and other data structures and define transformation logic and data rules.
Collaborate with product managers and development teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
Participate in stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; communicate progress and challenges.
Work with QA to validate data integrity and troubleshoot data discrepancies; act as a subject matter expert on HL7 standards.
