The position requires strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime or weekend shifts. High School Diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a healthcare related environment preferred
• High School Diploma required
• Willingness for flexible hours and possible overtime/weekend work

Responsabilités

• Receives, screens and processes all referral information
• Performs verification of benefits, payment method and amount; obtain prior authorization
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of referrals/admissions
• Back-up for review of potential insurance contracts
• Adheres to ethical business practices and maintains professionalism
• Takes initiative and supports department and company goals
• Assists with scheduling and uses HRIS/scheduling systems as needed
