Job summary

The role requires strong communication, active listening and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Three years healthcare-related experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

You may be scheduled for flexible hours and some weekends, with travel as needed. E-Verify participation is noted.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a healthcare related environment preferred.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, screens and processes all referral information.
• Performs verification of benefits and payment details.
• Obtains prior authorization to ensure services are reimbursable before admission.
• Assigns payer category and scans information back to the facility.
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of referrals/admissions.
