Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, screen and process all referral information.
• Verify benefits, payment method and amount.
• Obtain prior authorization to ensure services are reimbursable.
• Assign payer category as directed by facility personnel.
• Scan information back to requesting facility.
• Ensure timely processing of referrals/admissions.
• Back-up for review of potential insurance contracts.
• Maintain ethical standards and integrity in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate initiative and responsibility for team goals.
• Foster a positive environment and collaborate with coworkers.
• Treat colleagues with respect and embrace diversity.
