Job summary

The role requires strong communication, HS diploma, and the ability to handle overtime and travel as needed. Other duties include documenting interactions and supporting ethical, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Three years in a healthcare-related environment preferred.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, screen and process referral information.
• Verify benefits and payment methods.
• Obtain prior authorization to ensure services are reimbursable before admission.
• Assign appropriate payer category to be keyed by facility personnel.
• Scan information back to requesting facility.
• Ensure timely processing of referrals/admissions.
• Promote ethical, safe and efficient operations.
