Responsibilities

• Receives, screens and processes all referral information.
• Performs benefits verification and payment method checks.
• Obtains prior authorization to ensure services are reimbursable prior to admission.
• Assigns payer category for facility personnel.
• Ensures timely processing of referrals/admissions.
• Back-up for review of insurance contracts.
• Adheres to ethical standards and maintains integrity.
• Promotes a positive environment and teamwork.
• Stays compliant with policies and dress codes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
