Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for patients, employees, and providers across a 24-hour operation. You will answer, route, and manage critical and non-critical calls 365 days a year, screen patient information, handle overhead paging, and coordinate after-hours service and on-call provider schedules.

We are looking for individuals with a High School Diploma/GED, comfortable with Microsoft

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Proficiency in computers & telephone inquiries required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Medical Office/Healthcare Facility Experience Preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handling Internal and External Calls.
• Screening Patient Information.
• Paging, Documenting and Handling Operational/Facility Needs and Emergency Procedures.
• Dispatching IU Health Police.
• Utilizing & Scheduling Internal and External Providers.
• Providing Directory Services.
