Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across our healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include direct expansion and chilled water systems, cooling towers, water coolers, and associated equipment, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance and safety.

You will perform repairs, read blueprints, and utilize diagnostic tools while adhering to NFPA and Life Safety codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years HVAC trade school or military equivalent.
• Experience in general and commercial HVAC required; stationary plant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Metasys and/or Siemens Apogee controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily service requests and project work orders; identify materials and tools needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document completion for CMMS compliance.
• Conduct annual/spot checks, inspections, and repairs in HVAC mechanical spaces and associated equipment.
