Maple Grove Wellness & Rehabilitation in Fenton, MO, is seeking a Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to oversee semi-monthly payroll processing and support a broad range of HR functions in a skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate has payroll experience and strong HR knowledge, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Payroll experience is required.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll software systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll and HR tasks.
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and employee-related needs.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and HR records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations.
• Review licenses, certifications, and documentation to keep records current.
• Assist with compensation changes and employment status updates.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and retention records.
• Perform other HR, payroll, and administrative duties as assigned.
