Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Your role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and offices; following infection prevention protocols; and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Dependable and team oriented.

• Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, dining areas, hallways, and more.
• Dust furniture, clean windows, beds, and surfaces.
• Empty trash, replenish supplies, and control odors.
• Sweep, mop, and buff floors and carpets.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in clean, safe condition.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Identify and report safety concerns.
• Respect residents' rights, privacy, and property.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operations.
