Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep resident areas clean and sanitized, following Environmental Services standards.

You will perform daily rounds and report maintenance needs to maintain a safe, pleasant environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning all assigned areas, complying with infection control procedures, stocking supplies, and contributing to a compassionate, respectful care environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must have a polite and courteous demeanor toward residents and staff.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas as assigned daily, following sanitary procedures and instructions.
• Promptly reports maintenance issues/concerns at time of observation.
• Strongly adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Maintain facility equipment, carts and work areas are always kept clean.
• Perform inventory of cleaning supplies and notify assigned manager of any supply needs.
• Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
