Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Front Office Assistant to support ambulatory/physician office operations, including patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals under supervision.

Located at 27343 Wesley Chapel Blvd Wesley Chapel FL, this role requires a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule in the Family Practice department, offering education benefits and a strong work-life balance within a comprehensive clinic system.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six (6) months’ experience in a clerical office, or general business, and/or customer service setting

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments according to protocols and preferences, including pre-certification when required.
• Obtains accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
• Processes requests for medical records per policies.
• Adheres to organization policy, procedures, and value statements.
• Feels comfortable using office equipment and answering calls professionally.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction through commitment to service excellence.
• Interacts with patients and families in a professional manner.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to applicable policies.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
