• Proficient with EMR systems (Athena) and MS Office; able to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients, visitors, and vendors with courtesy and professionalism.
• Collects co-pays and balances; maintains a daily cash deposits log and reconciles cash drawer.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance in the EMR; ensures accurate charting and scheduling.
• Prepares intake interviews by reviewing schedules and missing documentation in advance.
• Manages front desk operations: phones, mail, faxes, and deliveries; maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
