Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains all clerical aspects of medical records per guidelines.
• Conducts accurate registration interviews with direct data entry for new patients.
• Maintains patient scheduling and sets appointments across provider specialties.
• Receives and directs messages to appropriate personnel and departments.
• Keys patient dispositions, diagnostic codes, orders, charges and payments in EMR.
• Performs cashiering related to co-pays and patient payments.
• Delivers excellent customer service to patients, families, and care team.
• Acts as an active care team member in coordinating patient care.
