Tamarac Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tamarac, FL is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first face of our skilled nursing and rehab center. You’ll welcome residents, families, and visitors, manage the front desk and phones, and provide clerical support to keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior receptionist/front desk/office experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
• Professional, warm, and compassionate demeanor with residents and families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with multi-line phone systems.
• Ability to handle cash and resident funds accurately.

Responsabilités

• Answer the main phone line and direct calls to the right person or department.
• Greet residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and employees and refer them as needed.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and couriers; prepare outgoing mail.
• Monitor lobby area to help maintain resident safety and security.
• Distribute and track resident funds, vending machine refunds, and employee meal tickets.
• Prepare resident wristbands and hand out employment applications.
• Order departmental forms and help maintain office forms and procedures.
• Assist with general administrative tasks.
• Attend required monthly in-services.
• Other duties as assigned.
