Whidbeyhealth is seeking an FP&A professional to develop and maintain scalable financial, operational, and revenue cycle reporting tools that drive decision-making across the organization.

You will support budgets, variance analysis, and financial projections, partnering with leadership to improve financial processes and performance through data-driven insights. Healthcare focus and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting, finance or healthcare management.
• 3–5 years of related FP&A experience in healthcare or hospital setting.
• Ability to develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions to support decision-making.
• Understanding of hospital/healthcare business model and third-party payment models.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to translate financial info for non-financial users.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse/Analytics, UKG, Excel, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and oversee annual operating and capital budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership review.
• Perform variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct revenue cycle reporting to support performance.
• Develop productivity dashboards to monitor workforce efficiency.
• Create and manage interactive dashboards for data-driven insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
• Lead process improvement to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
• Train managers on financial reports and tools.
• Perform financial analyses for special projects and planning.
• Contribute to scalable reporting processes and COA structures.
