Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Brandywine, MD is hiring immediately for part-time Floor Technician positions at MedStar Health MOBs. Evening shifts are available; online applications accepted only. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

As a Floor Technician, you will maintain and restore hard-surface floors and operate industrial floor care equipment. You will also perform carpet and upholstery tasks and follow safety procedures, with lifting up to 50 lbs as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery routines including shampooing and extractions.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
