Qualifications
- Experience 3–5 years in finance or as a Financial Counselor.
- High school diploma or GED; BS Accounting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Suite, and insurance verification systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Business Office Services in ensuring efficient operations of the Business Office.
- Accurate, timely, and consistent performance of patient accounting, billing, and collections.
- Verify primary and secondary insurance coverage and explain benefits to patients.
- Meet patients to review insurance and patient responsibility.
- Manage patient accounts until fully paid.
