Qualifications

• Master's Degree in business administration or accounting preferred.
• Ten years of related experience and/or training."

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees day-to-day accounting operations.
• Oversees the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other accounting functions.
• Maintains internal controls and ensures GAAP compliance and funding requirements.
• Coordinates the annual financial statement audit with external auditors and supports regulatory reporting.
• Manages cash balances, bank reconciliations, and treasury activities; oversees banking relationships.
• Leads and develops accounting staff and establishes performance standards.
