Job summary

Hirenexus in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Finance Manager to partner with operational and finance leadership. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling across multiple entities and physician practices.

You will collaborate with operations to evaluate performance, identify drivers, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decisions and ongoing financial performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years in corporate/operational FP&A or related finance functions.
• Healthcare experience preferred, multi-site or physician practice environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement literacy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to support budgeting, performance management, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across multiple entities and departments.
• Prepare timely financial reporting packages for operational and functional leadership.
• Analyze actual results vs. budget/forecast, identifying trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide analysis and commentary to support monthly financial reporting and discussions.
• Lead or support monthly reviews with leadership to develop action plans.
• Develop financial models, pro forma analyses, and business cases for new services and investments.
• Assess operational changes with leaders to evaluate impact on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Support internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting processes.
