Leoforce is seeking a Director-level Controller for a healthcare organization in Franklin, TN. The role demands strategic leadership and close attention to detail across multi-entity accounting and ASC 606/842 compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Controller experience in healthcare, with NetSuite expertise and a track record of improving close cycles and automating processes. This position operates in a private-equity-backed setting with scale opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Three to five years of recent Controller experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong healthcare accounting experience, including revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state operations.
• Experience leading a lean accounting team.
• Demonstrated success improving the close process and introducing automation.
• Experience preparing or reviewing IBNR and other insurance-related accruals.
• NetSuite implementation or major optimization experience.
• Experience in a private-equity-backed organization.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, consolidations.
• Experience managing external audits and audit readiness.
• Advanced Excel and financial-analysis skills.
• Strong judgment and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close across multiple entities, GAAP statements.
• Maintain and improve a 10-business-day close cycle.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related accruals.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead a lean accounting team of fewer than 10 employees.
• Build AP controls, purchasing workflows and approval hierarchies.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes.
• Lead NetSuite configuration, data migration and reporting.
• Oversee fixed-asset, capital projects and lease accounting (ASC 842).
• Coordinate multi-entity, multi-state consolidated reporting.
• Manage weekly cash-flow reporting and liquidity planning.
• Lead annual budgeting and management reporting for CFO and investors.
• Oversee annual audits and coordination of lenders, insurers and tax audits.
