Pacificahospital in Sun Valley, CA seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting practices and maintain GAAP-compliant records for our healthcare organization. You will establish policies, supervise financial reporting, coordinate external audits, and collaborate with management on budgets while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely closes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Five (5) years as a Controller or equivalent, ready for advancement.
• CPA License or licensing in-process preferred.
• Solid understanding GAAP.
• Health care industry experience.
• Medium to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Meditech system experience preferred.
• Comfortable meeting deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate staff to achieve desired end results.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes policies, procedures and programs to ensure effective accounting systems.
• Monitors preparation of statistical reports and financial statements.
• Coordination of external financial and regulatory audits.
• Collaborates with other members of management on financial and budgetary matters.
• Assist with the implementation of internal controls.
• Oversee and monitor federal, state and local compliance.
