Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. seeks a seasoned Controller for a hospital environment to oversee all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize cash flow.

You will lead accounting functions, prepare reports, and support strategic planning within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in healthcare or governmental accounting, CPA preferred, and strong expertise in SOX, IFRS/GAAP, and financial systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare or government accounting experience
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of SOX, IFRS and GAAP
• Regulatory reporting requirements experience
• Strong Excel data analysis and modeling
• Experience leading accounting teams
• Experience with financial close, reconciliations and disclosures

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital accounting, GL, balance sheet reconciliations, and AP/AR processes
• Ensure regulatory compliance incl. SOX and healthcare standards
• Lead preparation of financial statements and disclosures per IFRS/GAAP
• Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury and banking relationships
• Supervise month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee internal controls and audit procedures
• Direct finance team including accountants and cost analysts
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Support improvements in accounting systems and data analysis
