Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare facility design and engineering to lead projects for hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, and campuses.

You will manage scope, schedule, and cost from planning through construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance and patient-care considerations are balanced with project needs.

Qualifications

Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree.
Minimum two years’ experience as a discipline lead; project management experience preferred.
Minimum five years’ experience in engineering design preferred.

Responsibilities

Make business decisions on projects from opportunity through completion with minimal oversight.
Manage project scope, cost, and schedule to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Lead project teams during pre-contract phase; develop fee proposals and budgets; prepare contracts as needed.
Assemble the project team with supervisor approval and manage multidisciplinary resources.
Provide direction to project teams to keep activities on schedule and deliverables within budget.
Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders; maintain client satisfaction and quality controls.
