Job summary

Mercyone is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital facility equipment. The role involves following diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs, patrolling buildings, and ensuring safety and security.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, servicing boilers, chillers, air handling units, and utility systems, while documenting work orders and coordinating with safety and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Determines the equipment needed to perform specific repair.
• Adheres to procedure for specific task.
• Performs tasks according to procedure.
• Verifies proper functionality of equipment.
• Follows through on inoperative equipment, including generating a work order.
• Maintains 95% completion rating on assigned PMs.
• Performs routine repair work.
• Documents work performed on work orders for record keeping.
• Identifies other repair needs and generates work orders.
• Operates and maintains boiler room.
• Monitors equipment and safety.
• Responds to codes and emergencies as trained.
