Job summary

Bloomington Meadows Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support building and facility upkeep in a healthcare setting. You will perform a range of trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, while ensuring safety and infection control standards.

This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance needs, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools with proper safety precautions.
• Understanding of Ohm's Law and refrigeration theory.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Maintain a safe, functional healthcare environment compliant with safety and infection control requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
