Job summary

The Meadows Psychiatric Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role with a 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule, plus weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation. The position involves repairing, inspecting, and maintaining facility equipment and building systems to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting the Director of Plant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in related field preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, carpentry, drywall, painting, and related plant operation responsibilities required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years maintenance experience in healthcare or similar setting preferred.
• Valid driving record meeting hospital requirements (three years with zero at-fault accidents or violations).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Respond to work orders; assist the Director of Plant Operations with routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and perform cleanliness and upkeep of machinery and spaces.
• Maintain safe, functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
