Job summary

Arcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep clinics safe, functional, and patient-ready by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements. You will respond quickly to work orders, communicate with staff, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.

In this role, you will coordinate with vendors for larger repairs, manage CMMS entries, and support life-safety tasks while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years in building maintenance or related trades; healthcare setting a plus.
• HVAC certification (EPA Type II or Universal) preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools; comfortable with CMMS for work orders, photos, and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and professional communication in clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and minor facility improvements to keep clinics safe and patient-ready.
• Respond quickly to work orders, communicate clearly with staff, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
• Coordinate with approved vendors for work outside of scope and escort vendors on site as needed.
• Manage work orders in the CMMS; update notes, parts used, and completion times.
• Maintain clinic exteriors and simple interior tasks to align with Arcare standards.
