Job summary

FoundCare, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the safe operation of its locations by performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of facilities, equipment, furnishings, and grounds.

You will respond to work requests, evaluate issues, complete repairs within your skill level, and assist with HVAC activities while coordinating with contractors as needed. Strong safety awareness and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general building maintenance practices and basic repair methods.
• Ability to identify safety hazards and determine when external contractors are needed.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and PPE.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and routine repairs on buildings, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds.
• Respond to facilities work requests, evaluate issues, and complete repairs within skill level.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, walls, and other building systems.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
• Coordinate with service contractors and manage site access as directed.
• Maintain interior and exterior appearance and functionality of locations.
