Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a full-time day shift role with rotating weekends and holidays at its Newark, DE facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, including specialized floor care and general building upkeep.

Responsibilities include HVAC and plumbing maintenance, general repairs, grounds upkeep, event setup, and responding to alarms per safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of related hospital maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, HVAC and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC equipment.
• General repair, painting, and maintenance of building.
• Maintain grounds including ice/snow removal and parking lot upkeep.
• Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair.
• Prepare facility for special functions (tables, chairs, equipment).
• Respond promptly to alarms and codes per safety policies.
