Job summary

The Villa at Stamford, part of Premier Rehabilitation & Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Stamford, CT. You will perform general and preventive maintenance, service calls, repairs, and resident room turnovers to keep residents and staff safe and comfortable.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 2–4 years of maintenance experience in healthcare or commercial settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; technical schooling preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in healthcare or commercial settings.
• Ability to follow English instructions and communicate clearly.
• Passion for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Repair building systems with moderate plumbing and electrical work and some carpentry.
• Complete resident room turnovers and touchups to original condition.
• Instruct residents on thermostat, TV remotes, bed controls, etc.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; respond to work orders promptly.
